How nice of you. I miss you guys - bigchris, welder, king ka, mat, Miyuki, Tridax (the official supplier of wizards to Abadat). Everybody. ^-^. What an amazing clan you have. And I will be back soon. I'm thinking when I have lvl 5 archers, which won't be too long.

I thought you might find this tale of my journey interesting, or, if not, at least more palatable here than in one of my never-ending chat posts.

I left for a bit to check out OMG Academy, figuring I'd stay there until I upgraded my archers, but happened to join them within the first few hours of a prep day for them, and as a war addict, I just couldn't wait that long.

So I started trying to find a clan about ready to start a war, and found a 20-member small warlike clan that cursed nonstop; I figured they were maybe 14 years old, trying to act tough. Until they started posting about their lives - whoa, a few of these guys were hardcore. One had just gotten out of jail, one, when I said I was from Chicago, proceeded to tell me about the time he went to Chicago for some heavy duty cocaine use. Another is on probation for god knows what. These guys were, for lack of a better word, thugs. During wars, no strategy talk whatsoever, just a lot of boasting about kicking butt with a lot more curse words thrown in between. And the higher level guys donated whatever they wanted whenever they wanted; "Wiz or Arch Not for War" I'd post before bed, and the Leader would give me lvl 5 hogs. Who was I to complain tho I didn't have an army built to utilize the hogs, who promptly died overnight. Their only war rules are "make sure you kick someone's bleepity bleep who isn't too much lower than you!" and "anybody who gets zero stars in a war is kicked!" So I did one war with them (six stars) and then hopped out.

Now I'm in middle of a war with an 18-member clan who couldn't be more different. A bunch of them have their own clash of clans blogs. (none with any sort of readership; they just share with each other). They are a tad boring but nice enough...the kind of guys who got the crap beat out of them by the guys in my thug clan in high school. I have learned a little bit from them; they like to use drags with rage spells, and spread the drags out roughly wingtips to wingtips around one side, which seems to help a little bit with drags all hitting same thing or wandering off.

They've got an interesting battle plan. I still like OMG Academy's better, and, with only 15 members in a war, they have a little more control. Much like OMG Academy, the top third of their clan (top 5 members) hold off until last half of war to attack. The bottom third of the clan is assigned to, in one of their attacks, to attempt to hit one of the higher members of the enemy clan, from all sides, just to try to find all teslas and some traps to help higher level guys plan their attacks. So the bottom third are like sacrificial lambs. (They can use their second attack against bottom guys of enemy clan or TH snipe as their reward for sacrificing). The middle third (of which I was a part) is assigned to make both of our attacks in first 12 hours, and the middle of the clan's job is to threestar the entire lower half of the enemy clan (so our #6-#10 is supposed to threestar enemy #8-15). Then, the top half of their clan takes as many stars as possible from #1-#8.

I completely choked and, as #10, zerostarred #9, so you can't miss me too much! Followed that up with an easy threestar vs. #13, which they call "a triple."
