Welcome, Bob! I'm the old man, 41 years old now, from Chicago.
Great to have you in the clan. I don't know much about soccer but have travelled in Latin America and one of the thrills was seeing professional club matches in Chile, Uruguay, and Costa Rica. I can't remember the names of the teams other than Universidad de Chile.

Let's turn this into an introduction thread for friendly people who want to share some info about themselves. Bob and Abadat already went, I'll go next. I'm the same age as Abadat. I'm a Canadian living in California with my wife and two little kids. I work in software (design side, not engineering side), workout 5 days a week. Crossfit, boxing. I'm a "morning person". I like cars and drive (and fix) a 1980s BMW.

I drive a 1989 BMW 325i which is largely stock except for sticky tires, coil over suspension and a 3.73 LSD. It has a measly 121.6 HP so I don't win any drag races but I can usually make up for it on the corners. My wife and I also share a 1998 BMW M3 sedan and a 2000 540i touring which are the family cars.
